This course is designed to enable the learner to understand concepts in epidemiology, research statistics and management of communicable and neglected diseases that affects individuals, families, groups and communities using the primary health care approach


The course introduces learners to concepts in mental health and psychiatric nursing, treatment modalities, ethical-legal aspects relevant in the provision of nursing care to patients with mental health and psychiatric disorders in a variety of settings.
